And I notice those two directors that are "retiring" are running to get reelected to get the increased pay.
And the second part about needing the increase to prepare for the transition to appointment of Non exec Chairman is a red herring ... why do you need more money to just prepare ...(and NOT yet to approve) for a position of Non Exec chair (No specific mention of the remuneration of such chair either) ... no this is just to divvy up the increase amongst the remaining loyal subjects of Nick.
