I've been reading this thread with considerable interest, because I believe the explosive impact of social media has been severely under-estimated and unplanned for by many companies (and politicians, etc!), including Lynas. Although Lynas Malaysia has attempted to put out a few videos on the net featuring staff and safety, much more was and remains needed.
But I will say that I was very impressed to read of their local youth sponsorship program that was posted by murf on another thread yesterday:
