    i agree westcott however would also add that history would suggest the chinese would more than likely be willing to pay SDL a shipping subsidy ontop of the ore price.

    that is if SDL requested such. The only reason i can see this not happening if SDL does an oftake deal in return for funding or infrastructure.

    But from the chinese side of things it seems they are happy to pay fairly for extra shipping costs ie CVRD.
