This Labor Government must want this industry to be destroyed. The royalties are the highest in the World. What or who is next for this money grab to fix the problems and debt they created. Who would want to invest here. Risk your billions and then be at the whim of Labor Governments. Not even third world countries with tin pot dictators have royalties this high. The stupid state of Queensland. This money grab will backfire spectacularly. But the damage is done. It can’t be undone. I’m all out but good luck to anyone staying. I sincerely hope it works out. SMR is unfortunately geared with some pretty unconventional debt facilities as no bank would touch it. That’s criminal in itself. I don’t want to be indirectly funding this Government through these massive royalty payments. They can get stuffed. Ps I didn’t vote for them. Never have.
