The price of SMR was $2.70/share before concerns about the royalty increase started to hit the share price. Now it's $1.79/share. That's a 34% decrease. $850 million knocked off the market cap.
Now you can blame part of that on the decline in the ASX in June, concerns about steel demand, and whatever else. And you'd be right. But the U.S. coal shares, including Warrior which is pure-play, seaborn met coal, have slipped comparatively little in the same time period.
At least we don't own Bowen, or most of us don't. That's taken a worse beating, down 40% today.
