what’s crazy is that the QLD Government is making a absolute fortune out of higher per tonne rates. Yet they want to slug the industry more. They need more local coal yet any royalties increase will curtail any new investment. Again this mean that established mines will be cash cows with less competition. Hard to see this now but it will surely come.
