I've been staying off this forum and not posting but i had to correct ^^ this turkey. There was a decent amount of shorts sold yesterday but not enough to lead to a spike which neither of can determine until monday because there is a 4 day lag. The total short position is dead flat from the 17th to 18th. And yesterdays spike in gross short sales also came on an increased trading day. Additionally speculating right now is moronic as it is a GROSS short position therefore doesn't take out if people have opened and closed in the same day which given the volatility is quite possible.
