Unfortunately there are bullies in the realtor sector which I've personally witnessed lately.
I personally am looking into becoming a landlord in the future and after researching the last 6 months will never let an agent handle it.
A family member has handled two of his homes well. The other one was left with a realtor. Was pushed to raise rents but didn't intuitively feel right about it. Did it though and regretted it later. He now rents it out himself a little bit cheaper than the rest. He always keeps his rents low and has no complaints with any of those tenants.
