The next reply from him in the thread states: AMongst the ASX 100 there’s is very little that meets all of our criteria. We have been twiddling our collective thumbs for a few weeks now so have been focused on analysing all of the floats coming to market.
So he has been analysing the floats, but cant give any reason for preferring G8. He does mention that his fund owns G8. Could this be a conflict of interest between his fund manager role and investment manager role??
In the past there have been some strange mismatches between what his fund does and his investment advise.
