This doesn't seem logical. If global temperatures have increased by 1 degree, and the amount of water vapour in the atmosphere has thus increased by 7% because of the higher temperatures, why has the rainfall increased? If the atmosphere is holding more moisture (not that we know within a 100% variation in guesses as to how much moisture the atmosphere DOES hold) why does it precipitate out? Surely the extra moisture would remain in the air, because of the higher temperature?
