Royalties changes recently applied only apply to coal with sale value of $150+ I believe so thermal won't be affected.

The main thing I haven't seen in this entire thread, is that nobody mentions strip ratios. Most important thing to a thermal producer is strip ratios in australia right now.

Not a problem in africa and places where mining wages are 0..
