Flick15, thanks for your informative post, as stated I have been trading only a few weeks and today was probably the most educational so far. Unfortunately due to my day job its impossible to keep a constant update on the market. I expected a volatile day due to the rate cut in the US. I,m glad ago improved a few percent. Still have a while to go till buy in price is reached but I plan to hold onto these as the results so far are positive. Today I was holding ags, ext and elk as well. Unfortunately by being at work I missed the opportunity to sell elk, I believed the posts on here yesterday that it would continue rising during the day. Another quick lesson learnt, not to be too greedy. I will also hold these and see what tomorrow brings. I also hold a number of blue chip shares to help balance out the portfollio.
