What could be v. interesting is the result of what comes next in San Fran role on 4th and 5th Sept. One things for sure Intuit have already lost the first round with their move. The media will be all over this david and goliath contest and leveraging Xero's every move to the maximum.
If they have the same response and the locals go Xerocon rather than attend the hijack same date matching Intuit event, it might really back fire on intuit, a bit like Oracle loosing the people vote after being caught cheating. Have no doubt the next few weeks are going to be exciting despite this latest brilliant announcement.

I would like to see the usa split on the numbers though

I am however still thinking the growth in numbers won't really start hitting till late this year when the new staff of this years hiring start hitting the straps. One has to remember these current results are really work done by the young old timers in the company! IMHO
