I think it is the fact that the average depth of all drilling (the resource is likely within this is) is less than a meter (0.71m page 12 -ASX 27 June announcement).. shallow thin sand horizon means large mining footprint to get commercial amount of tonnes (high costs). 25km via road, 160km via rail then there is stockpiling, port charges, shipping costs ... Compare this to DRX who have greater than a 5m silica sand horizon, 3 km from an export port...

My guess is they will keep doing the test work for news flow, sign up terms with an off-taker i.e they will buy whatever gets to port- however nothing of scale will ever get to port unless Silica goes to $100USD per t.
