I certainly hope that we can do something with someone re: De Witt. if we can get glencore on board that will look awesome.

RE: Penumbra, these are the comments from the 21.10.2011 Penumbra Update.
"The Penumbra Coal Mine is set to become the Company’s third thermal coal mining operation in
South Africa producing 500,000 tonnes per annum of a high quality export thermal coal product.
First production from the underground mining operation is forecast to commence in Q2 2012 with
full production targeted to be achieved in the third quarter of 2012"

and this from the 3.11.11 Company Presentation
"First coal during H1 2012 from mining the C-lower seam at an average height of 1.8m and depth of 50m - 115m"

Ok, so it may be closer to June 2012.

If we can extend the mine life of Ferrier that together with PEN would provide significant cashflow to get De Witt into production, unless Glencore wants to stump up $200m for 51% ownership now? :)
