Following on from the link I posted yesterday regarding the article about cap raisings through acquisitions, here is a link to an article in The Australian today quoting MD Steve Parsons about consolidation of companies in West Africa. Coincidence? The reporter yesterday is attending Indaba as a guest of GRY, and now Parsons seems to be sending up the smoke signals loud and clear that GRY would be happy for a partner. White flag or strategic corporate corporate plays coming up?
Sweet that banks willing to lend 80% but at what growth and cashflow stifling cost (hedging). It is a fine line.
Parsons also mentions Papillon and by the sounds of it GRY had no clear plan other than 'this looks good' let's buy a bit of that.
Interesting month or two coming up.
