Interesting to go through the latest Pacton update. Despite someone mentioning earlier that that it didn't show elluvial, alluvial, or colluvial soils extended north into DEG territory, slide 8 shown alluvium and colluvium both extending to the north into what is predominantly DEG space. Deg might be looking like a DOG at the moment due to the uncertainty around next steps, but there should still be plenty of wag in its tail around conglomerates and their potential, both in the unweathered outcrops they are examining and in the as yet unmentioned lag gravel they might hold. But how to fund the work needed to look into all this? The $64 Million dollar question!
