    Panguna was once one of the world's biggest Cu/Au/Ag mines. It has been shut since 1989.

    After many years, Bouganville looks like it's headed for independence. A new nation will soon be born, with PNG's approval. With a population on 300,000 Bouganville could end up being one of the world's wealthiest countries after the mine someday reopens.

    BOC owns Panguna and has a marcap of roughly $180m. Contrast that to BOC's last year of production, when it produced a billion dollars of copper, and a similar amount in gold.

    Whats the future for BOC? Will it be swallowed up for pennies? Or could it be a multibillion marcap stock again?
