Don't know who you are or where you came from acturtle but based on your disclosure, you're not even a shareholder so what are you doing on this thread anyway?

Acturtle, I think you need to come out of your shell a bit more and learn about the real world. I have been an 'independent expert' before and know that a lot of work is sometimes carried out by fresh graduates and people who are not from the relevant background. Accounting firms win work by claiming to be experts when in fact they have little or no experience in the area they are reviewing.

It also doesn't take an Expert to work out that the share price fall was mainly due to the announcement regarding the sale. A lot of people sold due to the lack of information provided by the directors regarding why they sold and the lack of info on the future of the company. Expectations were not managed well by the company.

The announcements leading up to the sale talked up the Maitland deposit. Maitland was their main project with mining predicted for early 2009. They had little else on the go. With Maitland gone, there was essentially nothing else and the share price was punished.

Suggest you read up a bit more about the history of the company and the announcements they made leading to the announcement of the sale before you jump onto threads where you have clearly no interest and pretend to be an 'Independent Expert'.
