In any case, I think the deal may be in serious jeopardy.

No sane instos or individuals having mopped up $$ tens of millions would vote YES, when all that money lost in opportunity cost buying other IO shares just to gain a delta of $1.3 - $1.29 = 1 cents ! (a seventh of 1%) ??

Surely, the aim is to keep the stock and reap a future windfall.

If the deal goes through, I will sure hope in the Australian financial system, company transparency and accountability. In other words, as some on another forum have previously said (not my words), the deal sounds and smells a bit "third world".
