Thanks Moreld. You could well be right. I wonder why the rush though and see the bid has dropped off back to $1.20 although what happens in the US will no doubt set the real tone for Monday's prices (short of any announcement that is).

I noticed also that XRO had very little volume and the price dropped despite it moving in to the ASX300. So I am guessing you are right and that the funds have some flexibility to add or not to at their leisure - esp when it is with these smaller index weighted stocks. Perhaps the risk was too great to delay........
