Inversion is the word I use to describe being out of synch with the market. It can feel like the market is against you; that it will wrong-foot and whipsaw you no matter what you do. Of course a market won't do that, but it can certainly feel like it sometimes, even when you identify all the correct levels to trade. The psychological side of trading has by far the most impact on profitability.
