The reason for the loss may have to do with the way I drew the distribution box. It's been a really hard top to navigate. I've re-drawn it to allow for what just happened. I would have bought an upthrust rather than a breakout, hence the loss. In the second picture, there's also a diamond top pattern. Fairly rare, but that's definitely what it is (Bulkowski).

Breakdown happens if the lower right border is broken.



At the moment, going long seems like it's not a good idea. Plenty of selling coming in.
