Sophie Mirabella seems to be a Tony Abbott stand in. She often appears on Q&A, parrots his mantras ad infinitum, stands next to him under banners such as 'Ditch the Witch' and even slouches all over his frontbench.
Well Sophie's in trouble in what has traditionally been one of the safest seats in Australia for the Liberals; heads are spinning:

Ages ago I flagged this would happen while some posters on this forum were in complete denial.
Even the withdrawal due to ill health of Mirabella's main threat in Independent candidate Alan Lappin and absolutely massive resourcing of her campaign may not save her from the electoral wilderness.
