Simply means Indian farmers have to pay what we all pay to fertilize their crops. If the Indian government can't afford a subsidy system that surpasses their military bill then they can't afford it. India will need to rely more on food imports but that was always going to be the case. Apparently that isn't a problem anymore because the food crisis is solved if you looked at global grain prices ... plenty of cheap grain on global markets atm
