Insto's well best is to read and listen and then go away and do
your own. These guys can not agree to one recommendation...
Of course there is differene of views but the gap seems to be
just funny...one say buy with target say (example only) 12$ and
the other says sell target say 7$.....I mean its ridiculous. I
have found CITI the worst.
Anyway away from the topic...regards to China/India - dont forget
brazil exchange too. DOW is tanking with recession and bankking
fears and OIl keeps going up. Lot of analysts believe any slowing
in demand in US can be absorbed/off set with more demand from China
India and Asia.
I have a family friend of mine working in India on the National
Procurement team for the Commonwealth Games to be hosted in India
in 2010. He without mentioning too many figures says t here is so
much at stake and so much investment to be made - which has already
started....you add the general ecomony in the equation with soaring
demand and infrastructural needs......there is no question that India
is will not be far behind from China.
Recent trips to that country - its very very aparent that the roads,
construction and politics is running crazy at the moment. There were
dirt roads some 5-8 years ago that now need tar, construction needs
IRON, new railway tracks, increasing IT expenditure - all calls for
infrastructure..I remember some 10 years ago there were areas that
were just trees or no life so as sto speak, now people have bldgs
there......without going on about it..
FMG has a fantastic story to it...I was recommended this stock when
it was 7$ before the share split, I thought it had peaked and finally
bought at around 8$ before the split.....The only way of keeping away
from the argument of "if its rising too high" is to have stop losses.
Recent drop in FMG was just eaten up in 2 days .....
Iron Ore in general has been hot and will be for a while...when the
supply starts to match up - time to exit....when will that happen only
GOd only knows...
