He plans to have 80% of the country hooked up within a year and almost all within a 2-3 year period. Wether or not he can deliver is another matter but when someone has a net worth of over 20 billion dollars i'm generally going assume they can at least come fairly close.

The interesting part is there has to be a revenue source he is shooting for eventually wether it be ad supported, the sale of meta data, speed caps hoping to leverage users onto paid services or god knows what else.

Some of these potential outcomes are great for SYT such as a system that gets millions addicted to mobile internet only to have it slowly transition to a paid service that they probably cannot afford and many others potentially horrible for SYT in the mid to long term. Hard to know which way it will go until the rollout is done and the end game here is revealed.
