Managing director, Nigel Ferguson, mentioned India, anyone had a look? there can’t be too many LiOH projects that way.what I initially found that way is interesting. In India a major industrial Corporation, Manikaran, formed an MOU with Neometals in 2019.
Available information from Manikaran, suggests the JV FID was due by today and, there has been no update on either side. Of note, SCT Sichuan Calciner (AVZ DFS Partner) were involved in calcine testwork for this MOU.
Neometals CEO, in last AGM presentation makes no mention of FID unlike Manikaran, so something is amiss comparing presentations. And I hazard Neometals and Manikaran are not in best shape, otherwise where is the FID by March 2021? Neometals shows nothing for 2021.
Nigel today in interview and on Twitter announce India as an option, the timing is uncanny considering the Neomaetaos FID due date has lapsed by all appearances. For if this is Manikaran seeking AVZ Manono supply, then this is quite material....
