What do you mean by saying It is restricted from trading under contract, so its an escrow of sorts.
Of sorts? Is it in escrow or not in escrow? Do you mean that trading of them is possable but that it is conditonal?

The intermediary will have little to no rights to trade the stock you said.  
What is the little and what is the no please? Can they ofload shares under certan circumstences? 
Will any circumstences lead to them being able to ofload onto the ASX live market exchange like what they call a dump?
