good luck to them using molasses as a substitute, might be cheap now but as the worlds needs for sugar and ethanol increase so will the price of molasses and the costs associated with turning it into potash.
Just a big bluff to get cheaper potash prices, one year they can hold out, doesnt sound like its "the least needed fertiliser" if they didnt need it then they wouldnt be looking at trying to make it out of something else.
