    You failed to say that GM scored a century in the 1st innings, simply saying (and falsely too) that "Maxwell failed again."

    Did you forget???

    On to other matters, I did not know that GM was selected just as a batsman. I'm sure that he wasn't of course, it's just that Captain Smith chose to give him only 4 overs. Strange. He's no Doug Walters, the partnership breaker, but something different was needed to break the concentration of the boring double century maker. Smith lacked enterprise and initiative. He should have bowled GM for many more overs, plus a few himself, Dave Warner too. He lost the way on the 4th day. He let India off the hook in the 2nd test too by being pedestrian in his approach for about a day in the field.

    C'mon SS, I like you, but a bit of flair please in your captaincy.
