India produces some very smart doctors and has an enormous history in producing mathematics geniuses
without Indian mathematics -- we probably wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today
the thing that's held things up ------------- is racially based snobbism from people like the English - who created situation where stunning Indian mathematicians were retarded because of the English thinking that they are so superior
an excellent example would be Srinivasa Ramanujan - we are still getting to grips with understanding his genius - and if the English weren't so bloody stupid - we may well have got decades more out of him AND god knows what he might have discovered - if he had not reached his best years before a young death
many other nations have people who are intellectually all over Australia ----------- we got lucky having a quarry - that's as good as it got
