This reminds me of the News Release a while ago by the Chinese saying that they have discovered processes, far more efficient than anyone else, at re-processing and recycling spent fuel rods, and they will be self-sufficient in U supplies for infinity and beyond.
Low grade ore, deep, deep in the ground. Hardly going to flood themselves and the market with excess U in the next decade.
The Japanese also just found a hundred, billion tillion tonnes of 0.007% rare earth mud 2-3km on the bottom of the ocean as well. More REE than anyone else can use forever and a day.
