It can't be that the aboriginals are incapable mentally or physically. There have been some brilliant aboriginals and their physical potential is demonstrated on the footy fields.

My own opinion is that we are to blame by fostering their victimhood with low expectations.

And there in lies the issue. The governments have treated them as different and not as one of the rest of the citizens. Hence 'the voice' will fail miserably because they will still be treated differently and if the 'voice' succeeds then they will also have more privileges than the rest of us citizens.
