really we don't need reasons for our choices as we mostly decide on intuition anyway. nothing wrong with that.
I don't yet believe they'll get it right, but I certainly back the proposal because it makes sense to me. and there are adequate limits to the authority of the Voice that it shouldn't enable any degree of coercion or intimidation to compel adoption of their representations. and lastly the legislated status means it can be adapted, refined over time.
