Shorts are down so low. Are we really number 87 in the top 100? Index funds etc buying in strong? I know a few funds small cap resources got out around 1.30 and focus those funds towards Cxxxxx. Hindsight? Ok, the Cxxxx went up a lot since then.
the 4.10 sale each day is massive with many large chunks and a few over $ 200,000. This has occurred for at least 5 weeks on almost every day, and now shorts are low n don’t look like an immediate danger.??? Australian super may have seen the $2 approaching on the 4/8 and sold over 7 mil shares. Fair enough. My thoughts were that the $2 wasn’t going to be a psychological barrier as you would normally expect and so I stopped reducing my load to smaller amounts. I hadn’t free carried at all, so a few sold. But I’ve still got more left than the shorters hold!
current Fundamentals suggest we are over priced, but there are many other factors to drive this of which we can’t find out. Also, investors are possibly becoming more future or forward focused and need to be positioned. I recall back in the late 90’s, maybe 98? Amp listed and each quarter the market went ballistic on last day to achieve index balance. Buying a Put then the day before could make you 100% the next day. It happened maybe 4 times? The funds had to build their asset allocations according to this new entrant into the top companies. PLS maybe getting. a real focus from larger funds despite some small cap resource funds departing.

I’m in pain tonight with the loss of 10,000 shares, departed from the family. Like loss of a leg. We and my other shares all shared the love and faithful commitment and now this little bunch have gone off to a new home. We will miss them. The rest of the “family” are on notice that I’m looking for adopting more out to other responsible entities. They are far better behaved now but I’m giving them false reassurances and feel that guilt, its like a breach of trust we have held for some years now.
