Monetary policy (by the RBA) is not the only weapon to fight inflation.

The Government's fiscal policy is also important. In particular, the ability of the government to reign in the budget deficits, and get back to budget surpluses. Either by cutting spending (unpopular) or raising taxes (also unpopular, but taxing high super balances is a good start, even though it marginally affects me). This can also remove money from the economy and subdue inflation.

At any rate, these decisions are in the hands of experts and out the hands of internet lunatics. This can't be a bad thing.
