probably due to currency devaluation more than anything.
probably explains whats happening ATM. Anyone surviving on cash/wages is suffering, those with assets, that aren't cash, are doing better than ever. Wages aren't going up so suffering will continue unfortunately as not everyone has the luxury to invest.
