Automating trades is not something I do.

I have an Alert system as my Risk Reward isn't vanilla and it is not something you can implement in a mechanical trading system to automate very easily.

I have primary entry and swing low stop loss and 1.5x profit target.
But that swing low stop loss also becomes my secondary entry or if 1.5x profit targets are hit.

I always have two bites at the cherry maybe even three if trade is going my way. But if not I will risk 5% of account per position at the absolute most.

I dont know much about Pinescript but Chat GPT does!

SO do these guys and they don't cost much at all $40-50 to help you fine tune stuff.

Five years minimum back tested data the longer the better as you test it through varying cycles.

Systems might be profitable in some instruments and not in others.

Its alot of work but a fun journey to build something from scratch.
