Ok, it can be made fun of, but I'm not in the business of doing that. I respect the indigenous right to maintain their culture but they'll find, as countless generations around the world have found, that you can't go back in time.
And I'm never, I repeat never, going to stand up somewhere to give some remarks, at a funeral or whatever, and say I'm (a) so & so, and I respect the the traditional owners of the land I'm standing on & etc etc...it seems to grow more complicated as time passes.
But that's just me. A proud individualist. Owing nothing to nobody past or present.
