It appears that the war of words has started with the usual Labor media outlets getting the ball rolling with assertions that everyone will vote in favor of such a change

The advocacy group spearheading the push for Indigenous recognition in the constitution is calling for the Prime Minister to urgently convene a promised meeting with Labor and Indigenous leaders on the future of the referendum.

It remains to be seen whether the normal section of the community is easily hoodwinked

It is easy to see how the last referendum has destroyed the lives of the majority of the Indigenous population so now the socialists and latte drinking academics are back for another go to do even more damage
