Was reading through some old reports and realised that the recent drilling discovery by IDC of free gold in the hole 1000 to the south of the current deposit might be a reference to Buffalo Golds previous 21.7 -line -kilometre, induced polarization(IP) survey over the southern extension of the Mt. Kare deposit (See Buffalo Press Release March 3, 2008).
The survey defined a strong 400m by 300m chargeability anomaly, extending southward.
The anomaly was interpreted as sulphide mineralization and defined a previously untested portion of Mt. Kare gold bearing epithermal system.
This anomaly was being reviewed to define drill targets at the time of the WFC and Madison/Buffalo's demise attendant to the WFC..
So if its the sulphide anomoly thats being drilled and they have hit gold mineralization (which they have) this is fantastic (PUTTING THE DRILL HOLE INTO CONTEXT).
Very very exciting.
