    Seaborne coking coal prices largely stable amid quiet market

    Seaborne coking coal prices were largely stable on Monday January 24 despite a lack of trading, while Chinese mills were holding back from procuring high-priced seaborne second-tier hard coking coal from North America.

    Premium hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $405.28 per tonne, unchanged
    Hard coking coal, cfr Jingtang: $361.18 per tonne, up $2.53 per tonne
    Premium hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $445.10 per tonne, down $0.63 per tonne
    Hard coking coal, fob DBCT: $385.17 per tonne, unchanged
