Indonesia , a good place to be building foundations; indonesia is high on ECTs list, as per the power-works article which has been posted here many times

    http://www.powerworks.com.au/sites/default/files/SecondaryResources.pdf

GLOBAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT; New Opportunities - Working vigorously with a number of qualified parties to build Business Cases to underpin feasibility investment in India, China, Indonesia and E&W Europe.

As you have read on the brochure Macro posted; Indonesia is a massive coal player, Indonesia has overtaken Australia as world’s largest coal exporter. It exported over 300Mt of coal in 2011.

BUT Medium and low-rank coal account for a massive 85 to 90 percent of Indonesia’s reserve of 28 billion metric tons...a very high percentage indeed.

As per the attached link which is a week old

    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2013-01-23/indonesia-scraps-plans-for-ban-on-lower-quality-coal-exports

Indonesia intended to pass a law and have been the last year or so to lift coal prices by banning the sale of lower-quality grades, I.e - coal with a heating value of less than 5,700 kilocalories a kilogram....that was eventually canned as Edi Prasodjo, coal-business director at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said

"If we applied the regulation, it will stop mining activity"

Miners wouldn't be able to export the fuel....domestic demand for it is minimal, basically that massive percentage of their reserve would be dead in the water.

Read the link below, its an article for nearly a year ago, in regard to the same intent to ban low grade lignite which must of been swamping the export docks, hence effecting the pricing on the higher grade (in comparison) lignite

    http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/business/indonesias-low-value-coal-export-ban-not-final/505842

The Indonesians are looking for coal upgrade technology to be able to actually pass the law of getting the lower grade lignite off the shelf, unless it is at a level where it can actually be upgraded

"If there is technology for upgrading coal at low cost, then we can apply the policy,”

Upgrading at low cost.... There's a big tick for Coldry . The CCT workshop booklet which has been posted many many times here,
Pg 32 shows Coldrys Opex ranking amongst 10 other techs... It sure does look well. There's another tech out there that we know but I dont think it falls into the 'low cost' bracket

    http://www.brain-c-jcoal.info/news_images/cct_workshop2012/Prof.Mochida.pdf

That 5700 kcal break off point.... Coldry using lower grade LV coal coal with 60% moisture and 2000 kCal/kg is upgraded to around 5700 kCal/kg and 12% moisture; most likely resulting in higher again Kcal for Indonesian grade lignite.....Coldry sure does look like a contender.

Question ,there was a Mou signed with PGE; the owner of the Belchatów Lignite power plant in Poland , which is the largest lignite power station in Europe back in 2010, this was to co-develop a localised business case for a Coldry plant in Poland. Does anyone know what happened to it

"The detailed site-specific scoping and assessment of this project will begin immediately and progress through 2010, with ELBIS contributing expert local knowledge to complement Arup's basis of design and international capabilities, with additional local partners to be recruited"

    http://www.abnnewswire.net/press/en/62088/Environmental_Clean_Technologies_Limited_(ASX:ESI)_Enters_Eastern_European_Lignite_Market.html

I'm assuming it may have been skuttled by 'Arup's basis of design' been probably a scribble on the back of a ciggy packet back then, which also caused issues with the Tincom deal of course...DFT completion should provide some solid arsenal; European patent as well as all the others should help to no doubt.
