Well you may want to inform ECT of that SP3; as they seem to have Indonesia high up on their list of targets Indonesia even just by reading that powerworks article; they have mentioned Indonesia more than once and even a line targeting a plant there
"Targeting at least 5 Coldry BCE Plants (3 MTPA) to be in operation by 2015 across key growth markets (China, India and Indonesia)."
Yes infrastructure is very poor over there, but being the largest coal exporter in the world logic would suggest that they have slightly more than a couple walking tracks through the jungle from the coal mine to a fleet of rusted up tinnies on the river bank....
Indonesian growth topped 6% for the 8th quarter highlighting the nation’s resilience to global financial woes...the ball is rolling in regard to Infrastructure development . The Puruk Cahu - Bangkuang coal railway construction project is just getting under way with a construction value of $3+ Billion US. The Murung Raya and the Muara Wahau rail coal projects proposed.
The link below is a very good read in regard to the proposed infrastructural development within Indonesia. Foreign investment has recognised indonesia as money making alley
http://www.iflr.com/Article/3130827/Indonesia-An-economic-masterplan.html
The Masterplan -
"Total spending on the plan is estimated at $468.5 billion over the next 14 years, with 774 infrastructure projects to be developed at a cost of $240 billion at current prices. As the government has recognised it does not have the resources to fund the infrastructure component of the plan itself, it is hoping that the private sector will finance at least half of the projects, primarily through PPPs."
All that glitters in the article Obvously may not come off.... But it shows that it won't be all dust tracks and rafts. Strange why K-Coal would be involved in a investing conference there also if there was no chance of development wouldn't you think.
Read the link; its current, its a good read
