Indonesia eases export ban on minerals

Very bad news for any company looking at starting a smelting operation in Indonesia. Haven't found any information on whether this includes manganese, but initial reading sounds as though it's across all minerals. First paragraph of the article below.

"Indonesia introduced new rules on Thursday that will allow exports of nickel ore and bauxite and concentrates of other minerals under certain conditions in a sweeping policy shift by the key global supplier." - http://www.reuters.com/article/us-indonesia-mining-exports-idUSKBN14W1TZ

This may impact the investment from Pak, it may not. Given the smelting operation requires the ore from surrounding mines who now have the option of shipping it directly.

Definitely not good news for the industry and further highlights the political risk within Indonesia.
