Hopefully not like me but my Broker lead me into WAL because of it holding in CLR and even with my Broker suggesting I sell (at a substantial loss) I am hanging on.

Clearly WAL is all but Mr Stroud’s private company with a winery, Office building and a substantial holding in CLR (In the out of favour coal industry with about $12 Mil in the bank and medium term potential.)
WAL has no debt selling CLR shares becomes there cash cow.

As a “private” company the management are concentrating on the Gold tenement in Indonesia. It seems they have a very capable geologist and put a lot of effort working with the local tribes etc and I have the impression they are the first to drill on this tenement were the locals have been finding Gold for many years.

They have purchased Drill No.1 hopefully some results in the next 6 weeks.

Mr Stroud has bet his shirt on this project so that’s why I am hanging in.

Clearly the current share price is less than its assets so it’s worth a punt.

Just my thoughts.
