I think you are right about the Indo Election being related to the lack of reportable progress for Sengkang lng.Both SBY and Kalla are reluctant to approve anything that their opponent may purport as being against domestic interests. I'm sure this will change very soon after the elction.
Any one interested can research the politics involved in the current dispute over the Donggi-Senoro LNG project in Central Sulawesi. There are similarities to Sengkang and it would explain why EWC have been reluctant to make any public announcements.
Mont's recent pronouncements of a 4 to 6 week timeframe for start of shipping major lng plant allows 4 weeks after the election for decisions to be made which seems about right.
I'm looking forward to the picture of Stewart Elliot standing on a concrete slab on site at Keera with some Chart/Siemens Plant being fixed in place - sometime soon.
