I doubt the idea "The meek will inherite the earth" actually is sustainable for western civilization.

The meaning of words change over time.

recent one is "Gay"


I was told that the word "meek" back when it was first spoken, was a person who was teachable,a learned one.

Which makes more sense.Educated people do run the World, not always for the better I might add.


Today, "meek" to me means timid, weak.

No way will these people inherit the Earth.

I find there are two types of people.

Ones that act, and ones that are acted upon.

"meek" will be the ones acted upon.

Indonesia and Australia comes to mind.
