Absolutely pointless in complaining, nothing will be done except for a standard template reply...again demonstrates poor management in the timing of good news then bad news releases.

I will now be interested in two things which come to my mind.

1. These are the same workers that went on strike earlier in the year, got fired as a result, then quickly re-applied for the vacant positions. Is this now an opportunity to fire the lot and not re-employ the non performers and utilise more of JIC workforce?

2. To me PLA has blood in the waters look about it, which may attract an opportunistic bid from a predator that have been in Sth Africa longer and can pick up 10mil oz resource. 85 to 90 cents could possibly nab this company.

Nothing would surprise me, but I am surprised that a greater sell off didn't occur on today's announcement.
